As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the quantity take-off and cost estimation processes, working closely with subcontractors and suppliers to source quotations and negotiate prices.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit tenders and quotations, following up with clarifications and interviews as necessary.
- Source quotations, liaise with subcontractors, and negotiate prices to ensure best value for money.
- Preparation and resolution of progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Evaluate and certify subcontractors' progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Attend site meetings to capture all variation claims, prepare interim valuations, and identify potential variation works.
- Liaise with clients and consultants on all contractual issues.
- Perform other assigned duties or related tasks as required.
