- Patient Assessment: Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular health, including medical history, vital signs, symptoms, and diagnostic test results.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions. This may involve medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and/or surgical interventions.
- Emergency Response: Responding to cardiac emergencies, such as myocardial infarction (heart attack) or cardiac arrest, by initiating appropriate interventions such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation.

Main Responsibilities
- To plan and manage the care of individual patient using the nursing process approach comprising of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation in the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU). On admission, all necessary pre-procedure check will be done on patient.
- To prepare patient for procedure by serving all necessary pre-medications and shaving the appropriate site and monitor the patient closely after a procedure in the CMU and notify the cardiologist/attending doctor of any abnormalities.
- To assist in procedures and prepare the various instrument trolleys required in various interventional procedures.
- To ensure safety to patient when applying principles of administration of contrast media, taking into consideration the contra-indications and history of patient.
- To respond and manage emergency situations in an efficient and calm manner, e.g. in Code Blue.
- To perform other assignments as and when required by the Nurse Manager/Clinician.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing
- Post Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurse.
- At least 2-5 years of clinical experience
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiology or Radiology interventional procedures or equivalent
- 5 days work week (Mondays to Fridays, no overnight shift but with extended cases, on-call and callback)
