Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage individual patient care using the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation in the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU).
- Conduct all necessary pre-procedure checks upon patient admission.
- Prepare patients for procedures by administering pre-medications and shaving the appropriate site; closely monitor patients post-procedure and notify the cardiologist or attending doctor of any abnormalities.
- Assist in procedures and prepare various instrument trolleys for interventional procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by applying principles for the administration of contrast media, considering contraindications and patient history.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently, such as during a Code Blue.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Nurse Manager or Clinician.
Requirements:
- With a minimum qualification of Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board is a must.
- Min of 1 year of experience in cath lab

Our client is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Suite team, providing quality patient care and assisting with interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring compliance with radiology safety protocols to safeguard patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation) within the Closed Monitoring Unit (CMU). This includes completing all necessary pre-procedure checks upon patient admission.
Prepare patients for procedures by administering pre-medications, performing site preparations, and closely monitoring post-procedure conditions. Report any abnormalities to the cardiologist or attending physician promptly.
Assist in interventional cardiovascular procedures by setting up and managing the appropriate instrument trolleys in the Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab).
Support scrub and anaesthesia (AU) duties in the Cath Lab as needed.
Ensure safe administration of contrast media, considering patient history and contraindications.
Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations, such as Code Blue events.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Clinician.
Requirements
Holds a Diploma or Degree in Nursing
Possesses a Post Basic Specialty Certificate or Advanced Diploma in Nursing
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board with a valid Practising Certificate
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology, radiology, or interventional procedure settings
5-day work week (Monday to Friday). No overnight shifts, though extended hours, on-call, and callback duties may be required
