You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. Suitable candidates will be offered employment on a 1-year contract.
Requirements:
- A recognised basic medical degree
- Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
- At least 3 years' post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field / specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field /specialty
- A good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Documented proof of:
(i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
(ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.

Responsibilities
General
Perform radiographer duties in the cardiac CT lab during office hours on weekdays.
To monitor and control the radiographic supplies.
To maintain quality control and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories.
To assist in the preparation of specification, evaluation and commissioning of new facilities, x-ray equipment and accessories.
To demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills with the patients, next-of-kin, colleagues and supervisors.
To demonstrate competency in the use of the Cardiac PACS.
To cross cover Nuclear Cardiology Services during weekday office hours, when required.
Specific
Acquire cardiac CT images: e.g. Coronary calcium scoring, CT coronary angiogram
Cross training to Nuclear Cardiology: Tc99m tetrofosmin stress SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI)
Option of cross training to Invasive Cardiac Laboratory duties.
Opportunities to participate in quality and/or research projects within the imaging unit
Opportunities to perform administrative tasks/leadership roles within the imaging unit
Qualifications
Recognized Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
