Job Title: Automotive Sales Professional

We are seeking a results-driven salesperson to sell cars and value-adding services such as maintenance plans, warranties, motor insurance etc., directly to our customers. The candidate is required to understand the features and benefits of all motor vehicles that are available for purchase and be able to communicate this information effectively to customers.

To be successful in this role, you should be up-to-date with all the latest developments within the motor vehicle industry and have a passion for sales. You must be able to identify the needs of a customer, recognize their buying signals and close the deal in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communication.
+ Negotiate with accounts on banquet, outside catering events.
+ Develop increased room nights as well as banquet revenue.
+ Responsible for the dissemination of the group's related information to other departments e.g. issues on banquet event orders and group resumes, chairing pre-event meetings.
+ Maintain close co-ordination with respective departments on organizer's requirements and last-minute event requirements.
+ Be visible to organizers and clients during their event / group dates and monitor guest satisfaction.

+ Regularly review Master A/C postings to ensure postings are correctly done.
+ Review bills with organizers regularly to eliminate adjustments needed on final invoice.
+ Verify total charges and layout of invoices prepared by Accounts Receivable and send out to organizers.

+ Refer leads and send event profile information to relevant sister hotels or NSO / ISO (if any).
+ Maintain the active event profile database and group chart.
+ Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist the Commercial Manager in maintaining the accounts management system.
+ Establish good working relationship with internal customers (other departments of the hotel) and external customers (clients, event contractors, suppliers).

• Good on conversions of group business through detailed follow-ups, staying competitive and creativity, to exceed targets for total revenue.
• Perform monthly review account profile on room nights production and average rate

• To develop new corporate business in defined areas and market segments, in line with annual revenue budget.
• Account penetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge
• Fully responsible for accounts under his/her management, including contracting, updating profile and renewing contracts
• Up-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue
• Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel
• Attend hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility.
Other Responsibilities
• Attend all briefings, meetings and training as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Defines precise guest requirements and ensures that the guest services offered correspond effectively to their requests
• Provides after-sales service and in particular, ensures all guests' complaints are efficiently addressed.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales or the management.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality management or related disciplines

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales capacity or equivalent work experience including development of account portfolio and business development.
