Job Description:
- This job is opened to matured candidates who want to keep themselves active.
- And it is not a desk bound job. Eighty percent (80 %) of the Executive’s time will be spent outside the Academy to search for prospective Employers for our Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management course. Most of our students are foreigners who do not mind low level jobs.
- Make regular visits to companies in the Hospitality & Food and Beverage Companies in Singapore and offer our Academy’s students for paid industrial attachment positions under a Training Work Pass (TWP) for a 6-month duration.
- Approached Companies must have the necessary quotas to employ students on TWP.
- Companies in the industry with either chain stores or large workforce will require students to assist with duties which are not popular with full time staff e.g. dishwashing, kitchen duties etc
- Monitor students’ welfare monthly whilst they are on industrial attachments.
- Prepare paperwork for students before they are assigned an employer e.g. Logbook
- Process employers’ requests and feedback.
- Make and build regular contact with Employers who have signed CSM’s Industrial Attachment Agreement
- Coordinate regular meetings with Student Services Department on the graduating cohort 2 months ahead.
- Conduct Industrial Attachment Orientation for students before they are placed with employers
- Any other duties assigned by immediate Supervisor or Deputy CEO.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed secondary education.
- Bilingual capability is welcomed.
- Basic knowledge of computer software.
- At least 2- 3 Years of working experience in a related selling field is preferred
- Strong passion to help students achieve their lifelong learning goals
- Must be opened to learning new processes and standards.
- Must be student oriented.
- Good presentation and communication skills
