1. DUTIES OF SENIOR DESIGNER :

1.1 To study given architectural and structural drawings inclusive of the relevant shop drawings for preparation of any tender. To be constantly vigilant of all the specifications, requirements and codes for the most cost-effective method of design.

1.2 To co-ordinate and produce concept drawings, shop and detail drawings for checking prior to submission.

1.3 To assist in taking out of quantities of the accessories needed as related to the design.

1.4 To assist in co-ordination of the relevant project site works during presentation, mock-up, installation and completion stages.

1.5 To represent the company in the most appropriate means and conduct during attendance in meetings as and when required.

1.6 To ensure and upkeep proper records of all the given and submission drawings.

1.7 To constantly monitor and maintain the best compliance of drawings’ submission according to the site works’ schedule and programs.

1.8 To educate the workers/installers complete all the site works in the most acceptable quality both in material and workmanship.

1.9 To observed and comply to all site management’s requirements on safety, delivery and health aspects.

1.10 To lead in training of fellow staff, direct workers and sub-contractors to understand and expedite on scope of works accordance to the design criteria. To instruct and ensure such mentioned parties adhere strictly to the quality standards, safety and environmental aspects as designed.

1.11 To observe, check and report all discrepancies both on drawings and site condition verbally and in writing. Any variation or deviation to the shop drawings must be recorded and reported back to management.

1.12 To assist in checking reports by site managers and supervisors on site progress to facilitate counter-actions and progress claims.

1.13 To co-ordinate and monitor your sub-ordinates and sub-contractor’s performance and evaluate half yearly basing on ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards especially on quality and productivity.

1.14 To record and report for fortnightly meetings in office and to carry out all instructions given by the company management in the most appropriate method and sequence diligently.

1.15 To be punctual for work both in the office and at the project site as designated.

1.16 To ensure all site works are to be carried out expeditiously within budget and in accordance to the designed drawings and concept. Any incur of additional cost shall not be allowed without prior official approval from the management.

2. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 To reduce, reuse and recycle for Sustainable Environment as implemented by the company.

2.2 To report up to the senior management any improvement or any non-compliance.

2.3 To uphold the confidentiality of the company’s business or operation information and prevent any dissemination to any other non-relevant parties whether internal or external without the prior written permission form the Company’s Directors

Requirements:

• Diploma (Singapore) or Degree in Civil or structural or relevant fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural works such as façade design, cladding, curtain walling & glazing works
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD & BIM
• Good design and sketching skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff

**Job Title:** CAD Designer

We are seeking an experienced CAD designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, updating existing designs and managing projects from start to finish.

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings (e.g., site plans, roadworks, drainage, structural layouts) from sketches, notes, or specifications.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineers' or consultants' instructions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, LTA/BCA requirements, and drafting guidelines.
• Maintain and organize CAD files and drawing records.

Responsibilities

- Drafting reinforced concrete (RC) structure shop drawing

- Amending approved shop drawings reflecting site changes

- Coordinate with structural engineers

- Prepare bar bending schedule (BBS) from the relevant shop drawings

- General CAD drafting works

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years in construction industry, preferably with LTA experience

- Can draw reinforced concrete (RC) structure shop drawing

- Can use AutoCAD or Microstation

- Independent, self-motivated and responsible individual with good working attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for various trackwork projects, including railway track

layout, station platform trainway, mechanical, and electrical designs.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy

and compliance with project specifications.

• Review and modify drawings based on feedback and project requirements.

• Maintain and update CAD files and documentation.

• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering; certification in CAD drafting is preferred.

• Hands-on experience in CAD drafting and expertise in MicroStation and AutoCAD latest

versions; experience in MicroStation 2024 or the latest version is a must.

• Proven hands-on experience (minimum 5 years) in CAD drafting, preferably in

Singapore trackwork projects.

• Capability in the preparation of 3D drawings is preferred.

• Strong understanding of drafting standards and practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills. The ability to read, write, and speak

English is required.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• An associate's degree or certification in CAD drafting or a related field is preferred.
