We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior CAD Design Manager to lead and oversee the technical drawings and production design function for luxury events, exhibitions, pop-up activations, and experiential environments.
You will be responsible for translating creative visions into precise layouts, technical drawings and build plans for luxury pop-ups, fashion events, and premium lifestyle brand activations across Singapore and the region. You will work closely with our creative team, production managers, and contractors to ensure accurate execution of layouts, structures, and submissions.

SCOPE OF WORK
- Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including spatial planning, floor plans, elevations, sections, technical schematics, and fabrication drawings to exact specifications.
- Work closely with internal design, production and project teams for cross-department collaboration .
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive CAD drawing packages for submission, production, and build execution.
- Review and optimize creative concepts for structural feasibility, build efficiency, and compliance .
- Create shop drawings for fabrication and vendor use.
- Prepare and manage venue submission packages (SCDF, BCA, mall management) and liaise with venue authorities for approvals.
- Conduct site inspections and technical recce visits ; ensure accurate documentation of venue conditions and constraints.
- Advise on materials, finishes, structural systems , and technical solutions that align with luxury brand expectations.
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD libraries, drawing templates, and technical standards for luxury projects.
CRITERIA
- Diploma / Degree qualification in exhibitions and interior design or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical design experience in luxury events, retail pop-ups, and exhibitions or premium brand activations
- Expert level proficiency in AutoCAD, and good knowledge of SketchUp, V-Ray, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficient in space planning and technical detailing
- Strong eye for spatial layout, material selection, and design feasibility
- Solid understanding of event production workflows, construction methods, and AV integration
- Good communication and team collaboration skills; a good command of English is required, and ability to speak and understand Chinese preferred

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creation of enclosure drawings for quote, manufacture and assembly.
- Creation of assembly drawings in line with client requirements using AutoDesk Inventor and Vault software and internal ETO system.
- Input into MRP data maintenance around BOMs, part code generation and configuration.
- Feedback to central teams ongoing ETO system developments to ensure compliance and continued effectiveness through application diversification.

Requirements:
- Minimum diploma Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Proficient in the use of CAD systems for 3D modelling and drawing generation (Autodesk Inventor and Vault Preferred).
- Minimum knowledge of drawing software.
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in an applicable field such as sheet metal fabrication and/or polymer injection moulding.
