The Business Intelligence Team sits within the CEO Office as a Strategy & Transformation function within Dyson. The role is accountable for the operational leadership on the assigned product categories within the business.
The position is also accountable for driving strategic decision making through Competitor, Product, Technology & Market Intelligence across all stakeholder groups. Highlighting holistic and strategic analysis to leverage intelligence assessments for Dyson to create and protect market leading products and supporting senior leaders shape category and business strategies.
Responsibilities include:

Deliver a platform of Intelligence that services RDD, Business Unit & Legal project to enable strategic decision making.
Business Intelligence support to the IP Enforcement and Product Litigation teams.
Accountabilities Strategic
Delivering the provision of intelligence through data analytics to drive the strategic goals of the business.
Leading across the Global BI Team Goals that enhance our team's service model growth.
Operational
Managing and prioritizing resource / time in accordance with their impact/profile/urgency, managing stakeholders for your categories.
Delivering consistent BI Service across all categories and applying constant learnings to enhance our service model.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Ad Hoc Finance Requests
Develop, generate, and automate financial reports to support daily operational and management requirements.
Provide data-driven insights for Finance, Audit, and Compliance stakeholders.
Respond quickly and accurately to urgent financial data inquiries.
2. Finance Audit Support
Prepare and maintain audit-ready financial data and reports.
Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to provide evidence and documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure BI processes align with audit and compliance standards.
3. Data Management & BI Development
Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and data models in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

What We Look For In You
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economy, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Finance BI, Financial Analysis, or Audit-related BI roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Experience with BI/Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker).
Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, accounting software) and data warehouse concepts.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise effectively.
Strong communication skills — able to explain financial and technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Business proficiency in Mandarin is required to converse with mandarin-speaking stakeholders based in other markets.

Business Intelligence (BI) Manager, APAC
The BI Manager will be responsible for interpreting and analysing results as well as the delivery of a new high profile Microsoft Power BI solution, and develop the data processes, reporting, dashboards and data visualisations to meet the data analysis requirements of the business. Thereafter, be responsible for the continual improvement and administration of the Power BI system and related data infrastructure.

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analysis
