**Purpose of Role**
The Merchandising & Demand Planning Intern will support our Merchandising Operations and Demand Planning team. In this role. you will gain hands-on experience in order management, master data maintenance, shipment tracking, demand forecasting and sample management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations while gaining exposure to strategic planning processes.
**Your Impact**
**Order & Tracking Management**
+ Assist in creating, reviewing and validating sales orders to ensure accuracy (quantities, pricing, delivery dates)
+ Monitor shipment statuses (ETAs, delays) and update internal teams proactively.
+ Update order statuses, amendments in shared 'Buy file' to reflect real-time progress.
+ Support reporting on KPIs like on-time delivery rates, drops and root causes of delays / cancellations.Manage samples shipments and showroom organization (ad-hoc)
**Data Management & Analytics**
+ Assist in creating / updating SKU master data (product attributes, pricing)
+ Validate data accuracies across systems
+ Support data cleanup projects to eliminate duplicates/ errors
**Demand Planning Support**
+ Compile and organize historical order and sales data (e.g., by SKU, region, season) into structured databases or dashboards.
+ Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy
+ Assist in analyzing trends (e.g., demand patterns, order cycle times) to identify insights for future planning.
+ Support the creation of visual reports (charts, pivot tables) to highlight key metrics like sell-through rates, order fulfillment accuracy, or seasonality impacts.
+ Generate bi-weekly reports on sell-through rates.
**Qualifications**
+ Diploma / pursuing degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Merchandising or related field.
+ Strong analytical & advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI), SQL, Python is a plus.
+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Meticulous attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
+ Ability to manage physical samples
