The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the building operations and oversee the facilities team to ensure effective and smooth operations of the church facilities. Candidate must be willing to travel for duties at both campuses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee both operating expenses and CAPEX works for the church, including renovations, refurbishments and building projects.
- Responsible for sourcing and overseeing the operations contracts, manage contract renewals and related preparatory works.
- Provide monthly management reporting to the committee for review on the status of CAPEX projects and operating expenses.
- Monitor and manage performance of the service providers according to established standards and key service deliverables, monitor and recommend contract related decisions.
- Manage, maintain and upkeep all facilities and buildings of the church.
- Work with Facilities Management Company on the maintenance and repairs of our campuses.
- Schedule and prepare the building facilities for usage by the church for main events and ministry activities.
- Coordinate with campuses and various heads to ensure efficient and effective execution of all large scale or external church activities.
- Advise on the measures to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the campuses.
- Develop and conduct fire safety procedures for all staff and other Standard Operating Procedures relating to the various facilities management.
- Ensure the facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations, including for various licenses and permits.
- Forecast, propose and monitor all necessary building operations budget for the church.
- Drive and implement an effective and responsible workplace safety and health culture.
- Develop emergency response and crisis management plans and recovery strategies to ensure emergency preparedness in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Supervise and mentor the facilities team.
