(1) Job Summary
- Our client runs a large established ACMV company in Singapore.
- They are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Assistant Manager to support the design, development, and implementation of Building Management System (BMS) projects.
- This role combines technical design work, site execution, project coordination, and client-facing responsibilities.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMS and HVAC systems, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to project delivery.
(2) Job Scope
- Design BMS systems and prepare all technical documentation, including shop drawings, method statements, and quality installation protocols
- Select appropriate controllers and field devices for projects
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery
Site & Project Management
- Lead site coordination and planning for project schedules
- Supervise installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems
- Manage and direct engineers, subcontractors, and technicians on-site
Stakeholder & Client Interaction
- Attend project meetings and represent company in coordination discussions
- Provide comprehensive training to clients/end-users on BMS operations
- Ensure effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist sales team in preparing technical content for tenders and quotations
- Provide service management support for ongoing or completed BMS projects
Other Responsibilities
- Support additional tasks as assigned by immediate supervisors
- Respond to urgent site matters outside of standard working hours when necessary

- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 4 to 5 years of experience in BMS within a built environment
- Strong hands-on background in industrial/commercial HVAC systems and building automation preferred
- Technical proficiency in BMS systems design and commissioning
- Strong site coordination and leadership capabilities
- Independent and reliable with excellent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working beyond regular hours when project demands require
- Positive, service-minded, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
