Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing client's Trademark portfolio;
  • Filing, prosecuting and maintaining trademark applications up to grant;
  • Coordinating trademark filings in Asian countries, e.g. Singapore, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, etc.
  • Advising on strategies, courses of action and costs to clients;
  • Reviewing Examination reports and drafting response to Office Actions;
  • Conducting trademark searches and providing opinion to clients

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Law / Candidates of the Certificate of Intellectual Property (GCIP) course are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency with computers (should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Experience in Trademark work would be an advantage although not essential (Training will be provided)
  • Good time and task management skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with good self-discipline and minimum supervision
