- Managing client's Trademark portfolio;
- Filing, prosecuting and maintaining trademark applications up to grant;
- Coordinating trademark filings in Asian countries, e.g. Singapore, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, etc.
- Advising on strategies, courses of action and costs to clients;
- Reviewing Examination reports and drafting response to Office Actions;
- Conducting trademark searches and providing opinion to clients
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Law / Candidates of the Certificate of Intellectual Property (GCIP) course are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency with computers (should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Experience in Trademark work would be an advantage although not essential (Training will be provided)
- Good time and task management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with good self-discipline and minimum supervision
