Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis with banking IT systems, including payment systems and core banking applications.
- End-to-end payments system knowledge with detailed insights on payment file formats ISO20022, SWIFT, and SEPA payments.
- Experience with payments field/value mapping and validations, as well as hands-on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing, and Settlement.
- Good understanding of the payment life-cycle (Client <-> Clearing) for high-value payments, including experience with handling R-Msgs.
- Proficient in functional and system integration testing of banking and financial applications, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle.
- Ability to break down Functional Specifications Documents (FSD) and Epic requirements into developable stories for developers.
- Experience in creating Cucumber test cases (Gherkin) and working with developers in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Desirable Skills:
- Functional automation of test cases using SOAP UI/Selenium and other automation tools.
- Ability to connect dots from the bigger picture to smaller chunks and maintain change requirements.
- Experience in corporate banking, corporate commercial payments, international/domestic payments, payment hub/factory, correspondent banking, real-time payments, cash/liquidity management, compliance/anti-money laundering (AML), foreign exchange (FX), and messaging (SWIFT and ISO).
