Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate secretarial matters for Singapore companies.
- Prepare and file a range of statutory documents for corporate actions in a timely manner.
- Oversee Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks to ensure compliance with AML and financial regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date statutory registers and corporate records.
- Liaise with internal and external parties as the role may require.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate governance or secretarial work in a law firm. Candidates from professional services firms or MNCs will also be considered.
- A good working understanding of statutory requirements in the Companies’ Act and other applicable laws and governance frameworks.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Be proactive and a team player.
- Meticulous, organized, detailed and deadline oriented.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Word).
- Experience in using CAS360 (or similar corporate secretarial software) or the willingness to pick it up would be an advantage.
