About The Role
Reap is looking for a Principal Blockchain Engineer/Blockchain Architect to lead the development of cutting-edge on-chain asset management infrastructure at Reap. This is a unique opportunity to build novel governance and asset management mechanisms on Solana, while leveraging Reap's established presence in the financial technology space. You'll be joining a forward-thinking team at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology, working to reshape how organizations secure and manage their digital assets.
What you’ll do
As the technical lead for our on-chain multisig platform, you'll play a key role in defining the future of on-chain asset management on Solana.
Solana Contract Development: Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, production-grade smart contracts on the Solana blockchain, with a focus on multisig infrastructure, transaction execution, and advanced features like time locks, spending limits, and role-based permissions.
Smart Account Architecture: Build and iterate on core on-chain components including proposal systems, voting mechanisms, asset management protocols, and cross-program integration capabilities that enable composability across the Solana ecosystem.
Cross-functional Systems Design: Work closely with product, finance, and ops to translate real-world fund flows into on-chain execution logic. Ensure alignment between protocol behavior and user experience across the stack.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in building smart contracts on Solana with Rust.
Proven experience in building and supporting production Solana programs that have handled sizable funds.
Strong understanding of smart accounts, digital asset management and multi-sig architecture.
Demonstrated ability to design and reason about complex state machines, proposal logic, and secure transaction orchestration.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about building cutting-edge blockchain protocols.
Peer collaboration and code quality: Maintains a high standard for code quality, reliability, and peer review. Demonstrates strong communication skills, challenges ideas respectfully, and actively contributes to raising the technical bar across the team.
Fluency in English both in spoken and written forms.

What you'll do

1. Participate in the design and implementation of wallet solutions that support multiple chains (BTC, Solana, EVM system, Move system, Cosmos system)

2. Develop secure transaction generation, transaction signature and transaction verification logic, and support signature algorithms for different blockchain architectures (such as ECDSA, Ed25519, etc.)

3. Integrate multi-chain blockchain protocols, understand the transaction structure, transaction execution process and smart contract implementation of each chain, and ensure compatibility and security

4. Participate in security audits, identify potential vulnerabilities and propose solutions

5. Track industry security incidents and continuously optimize the security of the solution and defense measures

What you'll need

1.More than 5 years of development experience, at least 3 years of blockchain development experience

You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation
Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in day to day QA Activities
Develop/Maintain and improve the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization to maintain a high quality bar
Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies
Execute and manage test cases and results, report on test and defect metrics
Create, execute and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across our systems
Contribute to robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing
Contribute to the building of a CI in Github and ongoing process improvement activities
Identify required improvements in the test and development processes; make contributions to our automation tools that address specific needs
Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace
Requirements:
Experience in Blockchain QA
Experience with App and API testing is a plus and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle
Experience in working with different frameworks like TestNG, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber etc
Strong in at least one programming language like Python(MUST), Javascript(preferred), Rust, Golang, Java
Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures and multi-threading concepts
Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Some knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using Github
Experience working in an agile environment preferred. Ability to work across Windows, Linux is a plus
Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development team
Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews
