The ideal candidate will have experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and laboratory testing.
This role is part of our expanding oncology hub in Singapore.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive laboratory testing: conduct various tests, operate equipment, follow standard procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS): prepare libraries, perform sequencing, validate data, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to new methodologies or protocols.
- Data analysis and reporting: document data, analyze results, generate reports, communicate findings, and collaborate with the laboratory team.
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related field.
- Experience and proficiency in NGS techniques.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment used in molecular biology and genetics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking skills, strong organizational skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical lab experience required, preferably in a CAP-accredited or MOH-licensed laboratory.

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of structural biology and biomedical science, with a particular emphasis on NMR spectroscopy and cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on corneal amyloids, including their structural characterization using advanced techniques such as NMR and cryo-EM.
Develop and refine methodologies to investigate amyloid formation and its role in disease pathology.
