Summary

The Senior Ramp Agent / Ramp Agent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of Ground Support Equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, Tow Tractor, Belt Loader, Transporter, ULD Loader, Passenger Steps, Ambulift, Main Deck Loader, and other specialized equipment used in airport operations. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work under tight schedules to ensure timely aircraft ground operations.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operate safely and efficiently all equipment and vehicles within permitted classes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, report any malfunctions or damages immediately to supervisor.
  • Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk on aircraft parking stand.
  • Perform manual marshalling or operate Aircraft Docking Guidance System (ADGS) at aircraft parking stands.
  • Place and remove aircraft wheel chocks and safety cones based on airlines’ requirements.
  • Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Perform general loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper handling and placement to avoid damage.
  • Perform duties on docking and withdrawing of Passenger Loading Bridge (PLB).
  • Read and interpret Container Pallet Message (CPM) & Loading Instruction Report (LIR).
  • Act as mentor to new recruits in the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety and health policies and security protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPEs).
  • Adhere to airport authority rules & regulations, dnata Ground Operation Manual (dGOM), and airlines GOM.

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
Requirements
  • Minimum secondary education and above.
  • Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license or any state driving license equivalent to LTA Class 3.
  • Able to obtain Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) after attending the Airfield Rules & Regulations Course (ARRC) conducted by internal trainer, and passing CAG Airfield Rules Test (ART) and Airside Driving & Safety Compliance Test (ADSCT).
  • Able to obtain Airfield Driving Permit Class ‘A’ after attending the Passenger Loading Bridge Course conducted by internal trainer, and passing CAG Passenger Loading Bridge Test.
  • Able to upgrade Airfield Driving Permit after attending internal Class 4D and Class 5S Training, and passing respective driving tests conducted by internal instructor and tester.

As an Airport Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of airport services. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and updating real-time ground situations at all key touchpoints in all terminals from the TMC via CCTV, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and update real-time ground situations at all key touchpoints in all terminals from the TMC via CCTV, in accordance with SOPs.
  • Process all Porter Service request(s) and ensure the respective Operations Supervisor fulfills the service.
  • Coordinate and support overall, trolley, taxi, and porter operations.
  • Act as coordinator between the Duty Manager and the Duty Terminal Manager/TMC Operations Cells during extraordinary operations matters that may arise.
  • Assist the Terminal Manager/Duty Manager with incident/accident investigation by extracting CCTV footages.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Duty Ops Manager when required.
  • Alert the respective duty Supervisor on key events of the day.

Trolley Operations:
  • Monitor the supply and demand of trolleys using associated systems.
  • Perform routine checks as stipulated in the SOP.
  • Activate Operations Supervisor for replenishment of trolleys and/or clearing of unused trolleys when required.
  • Provide regular updates to CAG using relevant platforms on real-time trolleys levels at designated locations.
  • Receive direct information and report any incidents related to trolley operations to the Operations Supervisor for prompt response and assistance.

Taxi Operations:
  • Monitor the supply and demand of taxis using associated systems.
  • Activate taxi supply when necessary, including phone calls to taxi operators and urgent calls.
  • Ensure all terminal workstations and TMS area functioning, including verifying and updating the accuracy of information in the taxi systems.
  • Observe and report the status of passenger queue, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to accommodate passengers in queue.
  • Plan for taxi supplies and take appropriate action in the administration of taxi coordination.

Periodic Duties:
  • Generate service utilization reports.
  • Cover Operations Supervisor's duties as assigned.
  • Cover Duty Manager's duties in their absence for coordination.
  • Undertake ad hoc quality/operations improvement projects/tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Science/Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in quality/operations functions.
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Confident in managing and influencing stakeholders in TMC.
  • Adaptable to change and a good team player.
  • Microsoft proficient.
