MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To lead a group of Technicians to carry out day to day servicing and maintenance of building's ACMV system/Smoke Detection System, Slab Cooling System and other small M&E System

• To support facilities operations and able to provide engineering solutions to enhance M&E systems' reliability and robustness

• To liaise and co-ordinate project site works with clients, building managing agent, consultants, vendors/suppliers and sub-contractors

• To ensure effective and efficient preventative maintenance to prevent down time

• To prepare yearly, quarterly & monthly maintenance schdule

• To prepare monthly progress report for maintenance work

• To monitor and assess service contractors' performance

• To manage the documentation of PO, DO, Service reports, etc

• To assist Project Manager in plan, design, tender and manage project work
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min Degree in Mechanical / Engineering / Building Science or Facilities Management

• Min 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in operation, servicing and maintenance of ACMV systems

• Good interpersonal and organisational skill

• Able to work under tight schedule

• Experience in Liquid Desiccant System and Absorption Chiller System will be an added advantage

• Adequate knowledge of medium voltage & low voltage electrical systems

• Well versed with MS office and familiar with AutoCad

• Perform Weapon Systems Preventive and Corrective maintenance works at SAF bases.

• Provide support services in operation exercise.

• Peform Material, Infrastructure and Repair Management .

• Perform functional check and/orrepair ontesters and Unit Under Test.

• Liaise with customers on maintenance schedule, planning, monitor, control and execution of works.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Able to interpret schematics, technical manual and drawings for maintenance works.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

The Job

The Maintenance Engineer position is a key supporting role for the continued growth of our MRO operations. The position holder shall provide engineering and maintenance support for all machinery, infrastructure, and test equipment, covering the planning, organization, and execution of maintenance activities to maximize machine availability and operational uptime.

What You Can Expect from the Job

• Accountability for maximizing machine availability and maintenance of workshop equipment, such as machining/cutting equipment, and mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment such as compressor/booster systems, heaters, test boxes, and test rigs.
• Establish the annual preventive maintenance plan, coordinate activities with the workshop/maintenance team, and provide regular updates to management.

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while driving our transition toward predictive and smart maintenance using sensor data and machine learning. This role is critical to maintaining high equipment availability across our Metal Injection Molding (MIM) operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Implement condition-based monitoring using sensors (vibration, temperature, pressure, etc.).
• Support data collection and feature extraction for predictive maintenance models.
• Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms in collaboration with the data analytics team.
• Work closely with IT/Digital/Automation teams to integrate sensor and equipment data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and real-time dashboards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records and prepare for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Qualifications
