**Job Description Summary**
We are seeking a highly capable Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3) experienced in managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments on AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in infrastructure management, cloud migrations, and DevSecOps practices, along with a strong understanding of automation, security, and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Infrastructure Management (L2/L3):
+ Provide Level 2 and 3 operational support across AWS and Azure environments.
+ Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.
+ Configure and manage compute, storage, networking, and identity services across both platforms.
Cloud Migration:
+ Lead and support cloud migration projects from on-prem to AWS/Azure or between clouds.
+ Use tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, CloudEndure, DMS, ASR.
+ Conduct workload discovery, assessment, planning, testing, and execution.
DevSecOps & Automation:
+ Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
+ Automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
+ Integrate security testing (SAST/DAST), policy-as-code, and compliance into pipelines.
Security and Compliance:
+ Apply cloud security best practices using IAM, Key Vault/KMS, Defender for Cloud, Security Hub, GuardDuty.
+ Ensure infrastructure meets security frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA).
+ Conduct regular security audits, patching, and risk remediation.
Monitoring and Incident Management:
+ Set up and manage observability stacks (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
+ Create runbooks, alerts, and dashboards for proactive infrastructure management.
+ Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Collaboration & Documentation:
+ Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams.
+ Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, process documents, and knowledge base articles.
+ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.
**Academic Qualifications and Certifications:**
+ Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
+ Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and cloud governance frameworks.
+ Exposure to serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
+ ITIL or SRE practices knowledge is a plus.
Certifications Required:
+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert
+ One security-focused certification (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft SC-200, CISSP, CompTIA Security+)
+ DevOps/Containerization: CKA or equivalent preferred

- Set up, configure, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation components including vCenter, NSX, vSAN, and SDDC Manager.
- Deploy and support Kubernetes and Tanzu clusters for containerized workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines using Aria Automation and GitLab CI.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers (including Tomcat, Apache, and IIS).
- Monitor system health and optimize performance across virtualized and containerized environments.
- Implement system hardening, perform security validation, and support vulnerability testing in line with organizational standards.
- Collaborate closely with HQ and cybersecurity teams on infrastructure design, audits, and incident response.
- Transition to steady-state operations, driving continuous improvement in infrastructure performance and security posture.
Requirement:
- Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Proficiency in Aria Automation (vRealize Automation) and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab).
- Strong foundation in both Linux and Windows system administration.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Solid understanding of system security and compliance practices.
- Prior experience in a high-security or government IT environment will be a strong advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Professional certifications such as VCP, CKA/CKAD, or CISSP are highly valued.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Engineer
to design, deploy, and manage hybrid infrastructure across
on-premise environments and AWS Cloud . The role involves hands-on implementation, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional technical teams and vendors to ensure secure, efficient, and resilient infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Assess, design, and implement on-premises servers and AWS Cloud infrastructure. Conduct site surveys across client data centres and offices to determine network, rack space, and power requirements.
Documentation & Planning: Prepare detailed
Site Deployment and Network Traffic Routing Designs
for on-premises and AWS environments, outlining configuration, routing, and connectivity requirements.
Coordination & Delivery: Work with hardware vendors and project managers to plan, schedule, and oversee equipment delivery and installation.
Network & Security Integration: Design and implement network routing between AWS VPCs, on-premises data centres, and external partners. Configure firewalls, VPNs, and network appliances (NVAs, NGFWs) to support secure traffic flow.
Observability & Monitoring: Collaborate with Technical Architecture and Security teams to integrate infrastructure components and network devices with
Dynatrace SaaS
for observability and SNMP monitoring.
Infrastructure Operations: Manage infrastructure services, including firewall configurations, user access, key/certificate management, patching, and compliance. Lead transition from previous infrastructure providers where applicable.
Testing & Validation: Perform connectivity, routing, and integration tests across AWS, MPLS, and on-premises environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in
AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, routing)
and on-premise network design.
Experience with
infrastructure transition, monitoring (Dynatrace), and automation tools .
Familiarity with
security controls, ITIL processes, and cross-team collaboration .
