5+ years of relevant experience in managing and architecting multi-cloud and data center infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and Azure.

Proven track record in successful project implementation across various cloud and on-premises environments. Experience with cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer and Azure Cost Management. Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Technical competency and project experience in:

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Huawei Cloud.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Ansible, CloudFormation.
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.

Responsibilities:

Solutions Architect

Solution Design:

  • Architect end-to-end IoT solutions, ensuring integration of hardware and software meets client requirements for smart cities and buildings.
  • Client Consulting: Act as a technical advisor to clients, guiding them through digital transformation and IoT adoption strategies.
  • Project Delivery: Lead project planning, technical risk identification, integration points, and ensure timely project execution while meeting technical specifications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to define solutions, align client expectations, and drive successful project delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior architects and lead technical discussions across multiple departments, ensuring solutions are scalable and align with customer goals.
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with emerging IoT trends like edge computing and fog computing, and integrate them into smart city and building solutions.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, IoT solutions, or smart building projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing IoT platforms in smart city or building automation domains.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and edge computing technologies.
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale, complex IoT projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, scalability, security, and performance in IoT environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience in agile development and AI/ML applications for energy efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms are a plus.
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and facility management solutions is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team, supporting customers and partners across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. In this role, you'll drive successful onboarding and deployment of advanced data infrastructure platforms, ensuring smooth handoffs from sales to production-ready environments.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing position where you will guide infrastructure deployments, solve architectural challenges, and automate delivery processes for high-performance, scalable systems—especially for AI, machine learning, and research-intensive workloads.

  • Own the post-sales customer journey , from initial deployment to production readiness
  • Act as technical project lead , responsible for planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder updates
  • Translate vague or evolving requirements into well-documented solutions with clear architecture diagrams and specifications
  • Leverage open-source tools and custom scripts to build automation pipelines and tailored workflows
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams to solve infrastructure and integration challenges
  • Implement, validate, and iterate on deployment workflows to improve consistency, performance, and reliability
  • Focus on Linux-based HPC/AI environments , ensuring high availability and optimal system performance
  • Deliver expert-level technical guidance and support during the entire customer onboarding phase

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills , especially when working with enterprise customers
  • Deep troubleshooting and analytical skills, along with a habit of documenting solutions
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT operations , especially around performance-critical systems
  • Experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Jenkins, Bright Cluster Manager)
  • Version control knowledge (e.g., Git/GitHub workflows)
  • Network understanding of Ethernet and/or InfiniBand in high-throughput setups (100Gbps and beyond)
  • Experience working with Linux systems , especially in performance tuning and systems integration
  • Exposure to parallel filesystems (e.g., Lustre, Spectrum Scale/GPFS, DDN), and software-defined storage solutions
  • Familiarity with container orchestration , especially Kubernetes
  • Prior experience deploying or supporting AI, ML, or HPC clusters is a strong plus
  • Background in Linux systems administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Confident in customer-facing scenarios such as technical deep-dives, architecture reviews, and post-deployment support
  • Able to deliver knowledge transfer and documentation during and after implementations
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
