About the RoleWe are looking for an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring system availability and performance across multiple environments. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day system operations, including monitoring, server availability, job completion, and log reviews for UAT and Production.
- Install, configure, and maintain environments across Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production stages.
- Apply middleware security patches and perform regular upgrades.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Automate deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Manage and optimize AWS resources (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Monitor cloud environments, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with security teams to apply best practices and support audits.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to the API gateway and integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve WebSphere-related application, server, and middleware issues.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining and upgrading solutions for AWS Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and deployment using Helm.
- Experience in IBM WebSphere, DB2, PostgreSQL, Docker.
- Familiarity with Linux OS and bash scripting.
- Experience with Kong and AWS API Gateway.
