JOB SUMMARY
This position ensures regulatory compliance is maintained in accordance with the Appropriate Authority who are responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the national civil aviation security program. This position assesses and screens packages to prevent and mitigate possible threats to personnel, aircraft, facilities, and customers' packages. This position helps keep our personnel, packages, vehicles, aircraft, and facilities safe from unlawful acts against UPS and aircraft by applying and maintaining security controls. This position may use various screening technology, processes, and procedures to screen packages and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leverages knowledge of the all screening processes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Participates in and verifies daily equipment inspections and maintains a safe environment to ensure operational compliance and efficiency.
• Comprehends and implements regulatory changes tools and materials to complete tasks.
• Operates according to training and collaborates with co-workers to ensure smooth operation.
• Performs effective screening using equipment and procedures, to prevent prohibited items from entering the air network.
• Works within taut timelines ensuring all critical deadlines are met.
• Works as part of a team to safeguard the air cargo network.
• Delivers the screening process to ensure regulation and process compliance.
• Escalates quality and process issues to ensure they are handled appropriately by their supervisor.
• Monitors the general work areas adherence to processes and regulations. 
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
• Successfully pass security checks, e.g., background, criminal records
• Successfully pass Eye Test (color-blindness test)
• Basic literacy & numeracy

**Job Description**
+ Implement and oversee the Safety Management Plan, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including client's project safety standards and programmes.
+ Collaborate with the Client's Corporate QHSE Manager/Officer and JV company representatives on reporting, audits, and site visits.
+ Proactively demonstrate and promote the correct safety culture across the project site.
+ Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Risk Assessments (JSRA) submitted by contractors.
+ Coordinate and conduct health and safety audits, including those performed by the Contractor's WSHOs and WSHCs, to ensure compliance with Client requirements and the Safety Management Plan.
+ Maintain accurate health and safety records, including safety statistics, lead and lag indicators, and ensure correct reporting of data.
+ Develop and deliver basic health, safety, and environment (HSE) training to project team members and workers.
+ Lead investigations into incidents and near misses using the ICAM Incident Investigation Process, ensuring proper reporting and closure.
+ Log all safety incidents and near misses into IndustrySafe and notify the AECOM SHE Manager as required.
+ Monitor and submit weekly and monthly Safety Joint Inspection reports, incorporating observations from AECOM-appointed sites and field-based staff.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory standards and safety requirements are enforced at the Project Site.
+ Be available for work rotation, including extended working hours, Sundays, and public holidays as required.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
+ Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.
+ Possess Specialist Diploma in WSH or other MOM-recognized qualifications.
+ Good knowledge of local WSH regulations, Codes of Practice, and risk management frameworks.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with management, staff, and contractors.
+ Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.

- To discuss the findings of the inspection with the occupier / project manager and follow-up on the remedial actions required. 
- To organise training courses, competition and other activities, which develop and maintain the interest of the person, employed in the factory in establishing a safe and healthy working condition. 
- Take part in any inspection of the project site carried out by the management for the purpose of assessing the efficiency of any measures taken in compliance of the Act.
