We are seeking an
Aviation Flight Control System Maintenance Engineer
to join our operations team. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting aviation flight control systems to ensure safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibility
Serve as a focal point of contact for customer on aircraft status monitoring
Oversight of Aircraft Maintenance Schedule tasks and Aircraft Defect expiry
Attends and chairs daily Production Input Meeting (PIM) with customers
Plan accepted tasks and generate a 24-hour finalized work plan
Review and acceptance of ad hoc work input and recalibrate daily work plan
Ensure timely execution of all critical tasks for flight
Engage customers for alternate maintenance ground time for last minute aircraft changes
Identify and update spares part number and next recommended actions for troubleshooting aircraft defects per aircraft maintenance manual
Follow up on delay recommendations from customer
Liaise and collaborate with customer representatives to update information for clearing of aircraft defects
Internal point of contact to advise on aircraft serviceability status for aircraft rotation
Carry out any other duties as assigned by Maintenance Planning Manager or Vice President Maintenance Ops & Planning
Requirements
Graduate with a degree in any engineering discipline or at least two years of work experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)

Related working experience in maintenance and servicing of aircraft systems and components and familiarity with Line Maintenance work environment would be advantageous

Detailed job responsibilities
This person is responsible to the Head BM (QSSET & Production Support Services) for:
Immediate objectives:
Coordinating all audits on Quality, Safety, Security, Environment and Training by internal and external auditors. Coordinate and facilitates AOC audits on Calibration Lab section.
Liaison with other companies, divisions, regulatory agencies and customers on Cal Lab audits. Facilitate these audits and ensure any Correction Action Response (CAR) are submitted and implemented.
Monitoring and carrying out general surveillance on work environment and equipment (i.e. waste disposal, recycling, radiation etc.) in aspects of safety (ISO45001), environment (ISO14001) & health.
Ensuring compliance of work to all relevant statutory and company regulations and standards operating procedures.
Implementing environment, health and safety processes in the sections to improve the quality and safety standards, efficiency of work and ensure compliance with statutory requirement and guidance from Quality, Workplace Safety & Facilities division.
Monitoring and updating Critical Task, Maintenance Watched Tasks, High incident Task monitoring, end of check surveillances, documentation check, etc. on work that is carried out by Cal Lab sections.
Collating quality review reports for Senior Management and Customers.
Maintaining manual currency of ISO17025 Quality Manual, Cal Lab approved vendor listing, relevant sections of ISO14001 BMD OPM, and other manuals that govern the regulatory compliance.
Maintaining Cal Lab Risk Register and ensure the review of Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA) is done on schedule and after any incidents.
Updating EMRC, RMC, Compliance and Joint Safety Meetings on Section’s inputs.
Ensuring that regular independent technical audits (both system and product) are carried out or supported by appropriately qualified personnel on a regular basis to ensure acceptable standards of inspection and compliance. These audits shall form part of SIAEC’s internal quality management system.

Requirements:
Preferably a Diploma in Aeronautical, aerospace, engineering related disciplines.
Preferably minimum 2 years of aviation experiences working in a Part 145 MRO with/without Quality related role.
Preferably achieved a pass in the local L11/ L12/ M10 or EASA M10 exam.
Has a deep working understanding, conversant air legislations like CAAS, EASA, FAA, CAAC, JCAB, CAAT, CAAM, CAAV, DGCA Indonesia requirements.

· Troubleshoot and repair of hydraulic and electrical system for Aircraft Tow Tractors, GPU (Ground Power Unit), ACU

(Air Conditioning Unit), ASU (Air Starter Unit), etc.
