Responsibilities

· Initiate and develop new repairs on aero-engine components.

· Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs.

· Perform tooling/ fixture design.

· Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.

· Manage new machine and process qualifications.

· In charge of process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield.

· Prepare First Article inspection reports.

· Take the lead in providing technical recommendations and technical dispositions to the Operations team.

· Actively participate and support continuous improvement/ Kaizen projects.

· Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.

· Comply with the company's health and safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

· Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.

· 3-5 years' experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.

· Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc. will be a plus.

Overview

RF/uW and Wireless Network Communications application Engineer to support and grow our presence in the aerospace and defense sector.

This role bridges the gap between Keysight test and measurement solutions and the complex requirements of defense (Signal Monitoring and EMSO) and wireless network customers (Satellite Comms, Mobile Network Operators and PPDR Networks). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF/microwave, electronic systems, test instrumentation, wireless communication & radar technologies, Network Digital Twin, RF Channel Emulators and Wireless Emulators, combined with a passion for solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert for customers in the aerospace and defense and wireless communications industry, providing pre-sales and post-sales support and project management of complex delivery. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate Keysight test and measurement solutions, including Network Modelling tools like Exata or equivalent, system architecture design and integration. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training sessions for customers and partners.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and help define solution strategies

Work closely with product management and R&D to relay customer feedback and influence future product development

Develop and maintain application notes, white papers, and technical documentation tailored to wireless communications and A/D use cases

Support the integration and troubleshooting of Channel Emulators and Network Modelling tools in a Digital Twin environment, RF/uW instrumentation, Digital and Mixed-signal systems

Stay current with wireless communication industry trends, military standards, and emerging technologies in the A/D landscape

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related technical field3–7+ years of experience in test and measurement or applications engineering, with a focus on aerospace & defense and wireless communication marketsStrong knowledge of RF/microwave test systems, Signal analysis, monitoring and generation, Radar, Satellite and Terrestrial Wireless communicationsExperience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF channel emulators, Network Modelling tools & EMSO etc. Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C/C++) is a plus
