About the Role:

We are seeking an engaging technology project manager to join our APAC team providing first class project management for the implementation of AV and collaboration technology for offices across the globe. Working as part of a global team you will be responsible for the co-ordination of regional projects deploying the latest technology to meeting rooms, broadcast studios and presentation spaces, shaping the workplace of the future. Key Responsibilities of a Senior AV Technician

• To be able to act as the primary AV lead for certain rostered events.

• Collaborate with external vendors and rental partners when additional equipment is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sign-in for work and check immediately for work assignments.

2. Complete any assigned work duties.

3. Attend Pre-Function meetings.

4. Responsible for maintaining ongoing energy conversation and loss prevention program

among service employees.

1. Be totally familiar and practice the safe handling care and storage of all audio visual

1. Perform periodic total cleaning of the area, as assigned by the Banquet Operations.

2. All equipment not in use should be returned to its proper storage area in clean

condition before the end of each shift.

1. Greet and assist every guest, following the guidelines for "Aggressive Hospitality" and

all other details of our policies and procedures.

1. Ensure that the department complies with Audio Visual and Event Operation Standard

Procedures.

1. Reviews set-ups and requirements (BEO) with Banquet Operations Manager on a daily

basis.

1. Communicates any additional set-up requirements with staff.

2. Ensure that all schedules of events takes place on time and according to plan (rooms

and staff to be ready 30 minutes before function takes place).

1. Report all problem areas and either corrected or a proposed solution should be

forwarded to the Banquet Operations Manager and commented in the Captains Report.

1. Bring to the attention of the Banquet Operations Manager all materials and equipment

that requires re-ordering or replacement.

1. Check regularly banquet function area for necessary changes, electrical outlet light

bulbs, telephone lines and correct them.

1. Complete the assign work and reset-up for the following day before sign out for the

day.

1. Daily check all function room lights and replace fuse lights.

2. Attend daily briefing in banquet office.

You will learn how to set up teardown and operate events, You will learn How to coordinate events, The audio visual aspects such as setting up tearing down items such as Camera, Speakers and operating them. You will also learn how to setup and fabricate other items such as marketing collaterals and plan the whole event / project.

Experience is not required, but if you have that will be great.
