**About the Role:**
As a CBRE AV Technician, you will be responsible to operate and repair professional AV technical theatre equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Set up, test, operate, assess, repair, and maintain lighting, sound and projection equipment throughout as needed.
+ Provide professional expertise on theatrical AV equipment in multiple settings.
+ Be point of contact for theatre use/bookings.
+ Maintaining the TV panels etc in the classrooms
+ To help facilitate effective lessons, productions, performances, presentations assemblies and all other events.
+ Operate sound and lighting desks effectively during productions, assemblies, and events.
+ To be flexible, prepared and organized in support of events.
+ Support coursework submissions for Performing Arts subjects.
+ Keep an accurate and up to date inventory of AV equipment.
+ Any additional reasonable requests from the leadership team.
+ Ensure that all events run flawlessly from a technical standpoint.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Experienced with operating and repairing professional AV technical theatre equipment
+ Technologically literate, particularly in the areas of ICT (technical support), educationally related multi-media, and photography when appropriate.
+ A quick learner with a keen willingness to learn new technologies and programs as they are released.
+ Flexible and willing to adapt to changes
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize work.
+ Initiative and an ability to work independently.
