The primary function of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles through routine maintenance, servicing, overhauls, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities include inspecting and checking braking systems, performing repairs, and undertaking brake improvement projects as required.

Additionally, regular preventive maintenance tasks must be conducted, with enhancement projects undertaken as assigned. The work area must be maintained in a clean and organized state, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Applicants should possess a minimum qualification in Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicles) or Motor Vehicle Mechanics. A background in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.

At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Salary: $3000 - $3500

Working Days: 5.5 days

Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 9am to 6pm, Sat: 9am to 1pm

Working Location: Pandan Road

Responsibilities

• Inspection, troubleshooting and testing for heavy vehicles - lorries, trucks, tankers
• Conduct regular maintenance of vehicles
• Ensure repair works carried out comply with regulatory codes, specifications and company guidelines
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety at the workplace
• Any other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of relevant experience in automotive service and repair
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
• Possess a Forklift license will be an advantage
• Possess own vehicle will be an advantage
