The ideal candidate will coordinate technician workflows, implement quality control measures, and serve as the key technical link between service frontliners and workshop floor.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Assignment & Workflow Management
Coordinate vehicle assignments based on complexity and specialization.
Monitor work-in-progress to ensure efficient job flow and minimal downtime. - Preventive Maintenance Planning
Examine vehicle service history, mileage, and usage conditions.
Recommend preventive repairs or part replacements to extend vehicle lifespan. - Post-Repair Quality Control
Perform detailed inspections after repairs are completed.
Conduct test drives to confirm that vehicles meet all safety and performance standards. - Handover Notification
Notify service advisors promptly once the vehicle is fully serviced and ready for collection.
Verify that all job cards, diagnostic reports, and checklists are properly completed and signed off.
- Nitec or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in workshop operations, preferably in a supervisory or technical lead role
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and parts management
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control and safety
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in workshop management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid Class 3 driving license
