Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Detailed Technical Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for creating and amending detailed technical drawings and documentation for instrumentation systems in industrial projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of instrumentation systems (Pressure / Level / Temperature / Flow) as per project requirement.
• Ensure that all drawings are accurate, adhere to company standards, and comply with relevant industry codes and regulations.
• Update and maintain drawing libraries, ensuring that all revisions are tracked and documented.
• Review and ensure accuracy of all drafted documentation before submission.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all deliverables meet customer and project requirements.
• Prepare, consolidate, and properly maintain project documentation.
• Assist in the development of project-specific standards and procedures for drafting and documentation.
• Maintain good communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or its equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical/Automation).
• At least three years' relevant experience.
• Able to prepare instrumental-related drawings.
• Good understanding of technical documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and other relevant drafting tools.

Working Conditions:

• This is a part-time position.
• Work hours: Three to four days, eight hours a day.
• Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

• Transform sketch designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents.
• Generate engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments on drawings and documents for issue and filing.
• Maintain electronic file naming conventions and the overall drawing register in controlled documents.
• Work with projects on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of a drafter.
• Assist in engineering related documentation and administration.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate (ITE-NTC2) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years working experience in drafting using AutoCAD.
• Can perform drawings according to engineering design and possess good communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer software application. E.g. Word, Excel.
• Able to adapt / follow the standards set by the Drafting department.
