Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles, including identifying problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups, maintenance, and inspections.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
• Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles.
• Completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

As an EV Mechanic , you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair work for both electric passenger cars and electric commercial vehicles in accordance with LTA and manufacturer standards.

• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on electric vehicles, including battery systems, electric drivetrains, and related components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspection of EVs and commercial vehicles (e.g. vans, light trucks).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems , including brakes, suspension, steering, and air-conditioning.
• Handle high-voltage systems safely in accordance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and LTA safety regulations .
• Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and software to identify faults and update control modules or firmware when required.
• Ensure proper documentation of job cards, parts usage, and maintenance records in line with workshop standards.
• Support vehicle inspection, testing, and roadworthiness preparation for LTA inspections .
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with WSQ Automotive Safety standards.
• Participate in technical training and upskilling programs , including WSQ or manufacturer EV certification courses.

• ITE / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive repair; EV or hybrid vehicle experience preferred .
• Knowledge of high-voltage safety procedures , electrical wiring, and diagnostic equipment.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (Class 4/5 an advantage).
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday).

What’s your role?
You’ll be based at our Automotive outlet, providing installation services for walk-in customers as well as those who purchase through online channels such as Shopee and Lazada. Our product categories include Car Recorders (DDPAI Dashcam), window films, and other car accessories services.
As this is a Senior Role, you will work closely with the manager to oversee daily shop operations, ensure smooth workflow, maintain service quality, and support the growth of the installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the manager in managing daily shop operations.
Apply car window tinted film and perform installation of other car accessories as required.
Perform professional installation of Car Recorders (Dashcams) and Hardwire Fuse Kits.
Guide and support junior installers to ensure quality workmanship and service consistency.
Explore new car accessories and recommend products that could benefit the business.
Keep up with latest market trends and technologies in the car accessories industry.
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager.
What skills are required?
Experience in car accessories installation especially in window film, dashcams, etc preferred.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese, which is an advantage when serving a diverse range of customers.
