Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure safety compliance through audits and training.
- Team Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of assemblers, including providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Prepare day plan for the team and uphold company policy and be accountable for team performance.
- Own KPI such as Safety, FPY, OTD.
- Implement quality control procedures and address issues promptly.
- Identify process improvements and collaborate with management to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Manage daily production operations, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.
- Optimize workflow and lead staff training, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
- Prepare and present regular production performance reports to management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
