Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative professional to lead our content marketing efforts within the arts education sector. This role requires a Senior/Executive Officer who can craft compelling narratives that resonate with students, educators, and the creative community.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, and social media, preferably in education, arts, or cultural sectors. They should possess exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a deep understanding of content marketing and SEO principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies to promote arts education programs and events.
- Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimised content, including newsletters, social media posts, video scripts, and website copy tailored to the arts education audience.
- Collaborate with educators, artists, and internal stakeholders to create authentic stories that highlight student achievements, faculty expertise, and program impact.
- Design and refine visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, or Illustrator to enhance messaging.
- Create content, manage a content calendar, and coordinate with digital marketing team to ensure timely content delivery.
- Monitor content performance metrics through Google Analytics, social media insights, and other analytics tools; use data to refine strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Arts, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a deep understanding of content marketing and SEO principles.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Experience managing multiple projects and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to drive content strategy.
