We believe everyone has an artist inside them, looking to express themselves and we want to help provide a space for one to find one’s artistic voice and cultivate them. Our art programmes are conducted in MOE/International schools, childcare centres and in our studio. ART INSTRUCTOR (PART-TIME/FREELANCE)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Visual Art Instructors (Part-Time/Freelance) to join our vibrant art studio and inspire individuals of all ages and skill levels in the world of visual arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art techniques and mediums, along with exceptional teaching abilities to foster creativity, skill development, and artistic appreciation among our students. Your creative expertise and ability to inspire will contribute to the growth of our students and the reputation of our studio as a hub of artistic excellence.

Responsibilities:

·Teach visual art to children in MOE/International Schools, childcare centres and in the studio

· Manage classroom dynamics, ensuring a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.

· Capable to manage up to 30-40 kids independently

· Organize and conduct special workshops, art camps, and studio events to engage the community and provide unique learning experiences.

· Facilitate team bonding workshops for corporate clients both in studio and at external location

Requirements:

• Valid AMIS-certified by MOE required for Instructors for MOE projects (highly preferred)
• Prior experience in teaching Art in MOE school both in lower and upper level is an added advantage
• Minimum Diploma holder in Fine Arts, Design or related fields
• Owns an expressive portfolio or sketch book
• Responsible, independent, cheerful, self-motivated and shows initiative
• Able to travel across Singapore on assignments
• Able to work in Singapore without company sponsorship

- Use positive discipline techniques at all times.

In Planning & Preparation: Resource & Event organisation, planning and preparation:

- Assist in preparing resources, arts and crafts materials and helping to implement them in the classes alongside the teachers.

- Assist with planning arts and crafts ready for Holiday programmes.

- Assist in preparing Theatre props/scenery for shows.

- Responsible for the upkeep and organisation of teaching resources/arts and craft materials.

Child development:
