About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Draftsperson to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a crucial role in preparing and plotting architectural and interior design drawings.
Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare and plot architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, and 3D Max/V ray software.
• Prepare tender, as-built, and shop drawings for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to ensure accuracy and quality of drawings.
Requirements:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, and 3D Max/V ray software with good command of English language skills.
• Degree in Architecture with knowledge in Interior Design is essential.
• 5 years of practical experience in a similar role is required.
Working Requirements:
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Deliver drawing packages within given deadlines.
• Perform well in fast-paced environments and demonstrate discipline and a proactive attitude.

Arup is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural BIM Technician to join its Singapore-based team. This role focuses on providing BIM modelling and documentation support across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, science, industry, and planning projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural outputs.
The Opportunity
- Lead and support BIM coordination efforts, producing detailed architectural drawings, cross-sections, and space-proofing diagrams from concept through to construction stages.
- Prepare architectural drawings, diagrams, and visualisations for transport architecture and planning projects, ensuring alignment with Arup’s quality standards.
- Assist architects, planners, and team leaders in preparing project documentation and presentations, while managing junior technicians to meet project deadlines.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards, contributing to Arup’s commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
- Build strong working relationships across Arup’s regional teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in BIM practices.

Is this role right for you?
- Diploma or degree in architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an architectural or consulting environment.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and contribute to emerging areas of architectural design.
