Responsibilities:
The candidate will be part of the HRS Human Resources Systems Technical delivery team:
· To deliver infrastructure solutions for projects and change requests in HR domain.
· To be the subject matter expert (SME) in Application's Infrastructure and Devops area, provide associated support, for the team's suite of applications e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors Recruit & Learning, PTA (Pre-Trade clearing system) etc.
· Technical/Infra support
1. Perform Infrastructure (Hardware, OS, DB, middleware, software) setup and configuration across SDLC (SIT/UAT/Production/DR).
2. Configure Aldon applications for application deployments, perform deployment using Bitbucket/Jenkins and Aldon LMe applications.
3. Develop scripts for batch jobs and interfaces.
4. Setup online and batch interface connectivity (SFTP, Connect-direct, API etc.).
5. Design and implement Control-M job scheduling.
6. Support SSL certificate injection and renewal.
7. Monitor application services in Unix/Linux and Windows. Create PowerShell, bash/shell scripts to perform maintain services and other scripts to keep the servers healthy.
8. Supervisory role to coach, guide and share knowledge and experience with team mates to further improve the teamwork and efficiency.
9. Familiarize with the BANKING Enterprise Infra Setup, governance and change management processes (Devops-BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, Aldon, Control-M, BMC Remedy ticketing, eApproval form)
10. Adhere to software development lifecycle processes and documentations.
11. Track the deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process. Raise any identified risk.
12. Ensure documentation, supporting materials, and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams.
13. Sound Java application development knowledge to review and enhance custom developed middleware java application used for file transformation, encryption/decryption and transmission to external systems via multiple protocols like C:D, SFTP
14. Ability to troubleshoot the setup with C:D/SFTP for any connectivity issues.
15. Monitor services running in Unix/Linux and Windows
16. Create bash/shell scripts to perform Stop/Start services and other scripts to verify the server health status.
17. Ability to develop/amend/test scripts to perform file transfer, archive, housekeep, header checking, header/trailer line verification, date mapping, encrypt/decrypt using PGP.
18. Use Applications like Putty to login into OS level to perform investigation.
Requirements:
1. Minimum degree in IT or computer related subject with a recognized university.
2. 6 to 9 years of experience in implementing applications (Windows and Linux) for large scale banking system, supporting at least 2(two) projects' end-to-end SDLC from inception to roll out and post-production.
3. Good technical skills in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server knowledge, SQL Programming, Batch Scripting, Java programming with Maven/Tomcat/Springboot, Windows IIS, SSH key exchange (Tectia/WinSCP/Filezilla/Putty), knowledge in Network Domain, experience in preparing Control-M Scheduler jobs.
4. Good knowledge in Linux, Redhat OS, Java compilation, Shell scripting, Connect-Direct, SFTP.
5. Hands on experience in Devops pipeline - BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, Code promotion via tools (e.g. Aldon LME or equivalent).

Familiarize with the UOB Setup, governance and change management processes (Devops-BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, Aldon, Control-M, BMC Remedy ticketing, eApproval form)
Adhere to software development lifecycle processes and documentations.
Track the deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process. Raise any identified risk.
Ensure documentation, supporting materials, and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams.
Sound Java application development knowledge to review and enhance custom developed middleware java application used for file transformation, encryption/decryption and transmission to external systems via multiple protocols like C:D, SFTP
Ability to troubleshoot the setup with C:D/SFTP for any connectivity issues.
Monitor services running in Unix/Linux and Windows
Create bash/shell scripts to perform Stop/Start services and other scripts to verify the server health status.
Ability to develop/amend/test scripts to perform file transfer, archive, housekeep, header checking, header/trailer line verification, date mapping, encrypt/decrypt using PGP.
Use Applications like Putty to login into OS level to perform investigation.
Requirements: 1. Minimum degree in IT or computer related subject with a recognized university.
6 to 9 years of experience in implementing applications (Windows and Linux) for large scale banking system, supporting at least 2(two) projects' end-to-end SDLC from inception to roll out and post-production.
Good technical skills in Windows & Linux OS, knowledge on MariaDB, Batch Scripting, Java programming with Maven/Tomcat/Springboot, Windows IIS, SSH key exchange (Tectia/WinSCP/Filezilla/Putty), knowledge in Network Domain, experience in preparing Control-M Scheduler jobs.
Good knowledge in Linux, Redhat OS, Java compilation, Shell scripting, Connect-Direct, SFTP.
Hands on experience in Devops pipeline - BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, Code promotion via tools (e.g. Aldon LME or equivalent).
Excellent English communication and presentation skills – both written and spoken.
Hardworking, meticulous and process hands-on problem-solving skills.
Self-driven and able to work well with multiple teams both internally and externally/people outside the team.

The role leads a team accountable for design, planning, implementation, operation & maintenance of StarHub’s submarine cable systems in terms of building and/or upgrading of submarine cable systems
Oversees the design, planning and implementation of telecommunications system capacities in StarHub’s submarine cable systems. This includes marine surveys/permits, sea-corridors, landing sites, beach-man-hole, RIO/CDN leasing, cable landing station space & power, capacity/entitlement allocations.
Procurement activities for submarine cable systems within the submarine cable consortium, collaborating with global telecommunication companies to advance StarHub’s interest.
Engage with suppliers and partners to implement and/or enhance new technologies that improve the performance and efficiency of submarine cable systems.
Responsible for the negotiation and agreement on the investment and cost sharing mechanisms within the submarine cable consortium.
Formulate and manage financial budgets for the submarine cable projects and capacity upgrade projects, ensuring the budgets and project timelines are well kept within.
Oversee procurement of submarine spares required for the continuous operation of the submarine cable.
Act as Maintenance Authority (MA), overseeing the operation, repair and maintenance of the submarine cable systems. This includes coordinating closely with the cable stations, outplant team, consortium partners and Network Operation Centre (NOCs) to ensure smooth operations of the cable systems.
Ensure the safety and functionality of the power feeding system for the submarine cable system.
Coordinate land cable diversion project with the stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption during the cable diversion.
Co-ordinate with supplier and partners on submarine cable systems fault repairs and related matters which requires to be on 24 x7 standby.
Oversee permit related matters for the implementation, planning, diversion and repair of submarine cable systems.
Manage contractual matters and Agreements relating to the planning, implementation and operation & maintenance with legal, regulatory, suppliers and partners. Including submarine cable crossing with other cable systems within the sea segments.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Communications
More than 10 years working experience in the relevant field
Experience in Fibre Optic communication and Submarine Network
Strong knowledge of submarine cable technologies, system design, and operational maintenance practices.
Good Project management & communication skills
Familiar with contractual laws and Agreements
Knowledge in other submarine cable systems within the region and its operational specifications will be an advantage.
Past experience in working with different telecommunication carriers from different region is necessary.
Experience in working in multi-national and multi-cultural environments is necessary.

Make an Impact by:
- Lead the core design, core planning for 5G and 4G enterprise network infrastructure, including infra capacity expansion, network resiliency planning, disaster recovery planning and operational processes.
- Responsible for mobile network architecture design (Core, IP or/and cybersecurity), with good understanding of business and organisational needs. Have the right project management skills to drive the 5G network adoption to the enterprise space & different vertical industries.
- Responsible in strategic planning, project management and problem solving for enterprise core network architecture and network lifecycle management such as software upgrades and tech refresh.
- Support the new business requests from 5G, 4G enterprise customer and work with stakeholders across Business and Network units to deliver the business requirement and projects on time
- Responsible to lead and coordinate with network operation teams on the commissioning, implementation of changes, decommissioning, and provisioning of existing and new enterprise connectivity platform service.
- Perform core technical assessment, and financial feasibility studies on enterprise core features and future capabilities.
- Keep abreast of new mobile technologies and evaluate strategic innovation to improve the enterprise network ecosystem and services that is offered to enterprise customers.
Skills for Success:
- Engineering Degree in telecommunication or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge in mobile communication and experience in core networks, especially in M2M/IoT technologies.
- Well versed in mobile networks architecture and 3GPP standards, GSMA evolution (5G eMBB and future mMTC).
