  • Initiate and/or conduct investigations for Aircraft Ground Incident Reports (AGIRs) and Hazard Reports (HZR) raised in ISMS (SIA Incident Management System)
    • Liaise with stations and CLCs to investigate aircraft ground incidents and hazards to determine their occurrence and to come up with preventive/mitigation measures.
    • Review HIRA annually for HO and guide stations on their annual HIRA review.

Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline.

Job Specifications (Qualifications/Experiences):

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Operations Support

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational issues and ensure that aircraft dispatches on time.
  • Ensure Scoot’s service providers e.g. ground handlers / airport stakeholders deliver targeted performance outcomes in all operational areas without compromising on safety and security.
  • Ensure efficient ground operations e.g. check-in/boarding/ transfer and baggage handling.
  • Ensure Scoot’s service providers e.g. ground handlers / airport stakeholders comply with the standards and procedures including the consistent delivery of Scoot’s products and services by conducting regular audits.
  • Provide feedback to internal department(s) on any lapse or gap of standards and procedures.
  • Handle delays and flight disruptions to ensure passengers are least inconvenienced, minimize complaints and increase number of compliments.
  • Liaise and maintain effective communication with all internal / external departments during operational situations to deliver the best outcome for aircraft utilization and passenger management.
  • Analyse delay encountered on shift to determine the root cause and prevent recurrence.

Operational Administration

  • Conduct operational investigation (Document Irregularities, NTL Handling, Baggage Mishandling, Customer Complains etc.) not limited to other related matters during shifts to determine root cause and preventive measures.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks and provide prompt updates in a timely manner according to the specified timeline e.g. tracking, monitoring and updating document irregularities, baggage mishandlings, crew voyage reports, tech crew reports, staff travel matters, customer complains – Sales force etc.

Project Engagement

  • Management of projects and ensure goals are achieved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Plan and implement the digitalisation journey / technology for passengers to pursue new norms of travel e.g. contactless travel
  • Provide timely updates to the team where required.

Other Duties

  • Perform any other duties as requested and assigned by Head Office, Section Manager, Manager, Senior Manager.

Requirement

  • Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, rotating days off, weekends and public holidays.
  • Diploma / Degree holder, preferably in aviation or travel related management.
  • Candidate with 1-3 years of work experience preferred.
  • Candidate with prior work experience in and operational setting preferred.
  • Singaporeans/SPR only

Desirable Traits

  • Multi-tasking, ability to perform well under stress and high-pressure situations.
  • Highly visible and comfortable to be the front face of the airline during flight disruptions.
  • Resourceful, tactful and has good communication skill in managing customers and situation on the front-line

  • Build short, medium and long term OKRs for the AOMs in line with overall management goals.
  • Track and monitor delivery against the SGHA
  • Monitor the station operational performance against SLA with service partners
  • Station audits in preparation of CAAS/Foreign CAA regulatory audits for passenger/Cargo/DG/Safety and Security related
  • Convey corporate OKRs and purpose to the SIN Hub team including CSAT Performance targets, Safety Performance, First-wave departure OTP, Operational OTP
  • Operations related matters
  • Oversight on timeline and direction of projects related to new station starts up, station resumption, network planning or relevant overseas projects.
  • Projects related to network operations
  • Manage, oversee and lead the daily operations across (a) functional teams and (b) cross function level for Inter-Department (TR) and External Department (CIQ, vendors)
  • Team Management
  • Lead, manage and provide leadership guidance to the AOMs team
  • Providing growth to the team and ensuring optimal efficiency on the ground
  • Any other roles assigned by SMGO/HOD/ Senior Management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of Airport Operations experience in leading a team.
  • Build strong relationships and provide regular and irregular ops plans for Network.
  • Possess strong people management skill at all level in order to lead the AOMs and service partners.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with people from all levels
