Aircraft Engine Mechanics play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft systems.
They are responsible for performing preventive maintenance checks, fabricating and repairing airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wiring, and subsystem assemblies.
In addition, they conduct operational checks on aircraft systems and components using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine checks on aircraft systems, structural, electrical, and electronic components.
- Repair and Fabrication: Fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wiring, and subsystem assemblies.
- Operational Checks: Conduct operational checks on aircraft systems and components using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness.
Requirements:
- At least one year experience as a technician in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities- Maintenance Operations: Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as per work orders and customer requirements.
- Testing and Measurement: Conduct tests and measurements using metrological tools to ensure compliance with working documents.
- Abnormality Reporting: Inform the Engineering team of any abnormalities or issues encountered during maintenance operations.

- NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Technology.
- Possession of relevant CAAS examination papers.

Experience with Leading edge de-icer boot repair is an added advantage. Safety Standards must be strictly adhered to when handling aircraft safety components. Maintaining a clean workspace is essential.
