Job Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, including structural, electrical, and electronic components.
- Fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wiring, and subsystem assemblies.
- Conduct operational checks on aircraft systems and components using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in the aerospace industry (is a Must)
- Strong passion for aerospace and aircraft maintenance.
- Willingness to commit to shift work.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing routine tasks such as repair, modification, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of In-Flight Entertainment Systems.
- Main Responsibilities:
- - Set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- - Perform proper repairs and/or modifications of all aircraft electronics equipment and some test equipment at board level and component level.
- - Hand set-ups for digital tests. Recognize failures and set-up problems and determine the need for appropriate verification.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate test equipment in the repair, overhaul and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units.
- Conduct regular functional/self test and calibration on Automated/Manual Test Equipment.
- Ensure all test equipment are within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out.
- Perform modification in accordance to service bulletins on LRUs as and when required.
- Troubleshoot customer's unit and return it to serviceable condition in the most efficient manner.
- Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices at work place and test benches at all time.
- Carry out duties as assigned by the Supervisor to meet team's objectives.
Requirement:
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline.
- Preferably 1- 2 years work experience conducting board-level repair work
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
- Good understanding of electronics theory.
- Experience working in a Workshop Environment will be favored.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.

Role Overview:
- Installation and commissioning of Automatic & Robotics machines in GE Aerospace facilities.
- Support Engineers to troubleshoot, investigate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
- Write and modify FANUC robot and PC programming.
- Setup and teach new/additional products/stages in shops.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical operational machines in shops.
- Data collections/analysis of machine performance in shops.
- Conduct basic users training in shop.
- Participate in Kaizen/improvement projects
The Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate has proven 2-3 years hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical) robotics or/and automated equipment in high volume production environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechatronics or related discipline.
- Minimum Higher NITEC holders with 2-3 years relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be able to work hands-on and work along with all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Responsible, accountability and dependable of good work
- Team player; able to work across functions
- Able to perform work under relatively stressful environment
- Knowledge in LEAN Manufacturing is advantages
