Job Description

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties including transit handling, arrival/departures, refueling, towing, wingtip marshalling, component change, defect rectification and customers work packages
  • Coordinate with customers on spare, work packages and planned tasks
  • Ensure timely completion of work assignments
  • Ensure equipment serviceability is maintained and accounted.
  • Attend customers trainings as and when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Applicants must possess a valid FAA license

  • Support the contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements such as diversions, charters, ad hoc aircraft type changes, major disruption recovery, etc.
  • Perform station administration and ensure station documentations / passes are up-to-date and valid as directed.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance for station ground equipment, vehicles and facilities
  • Control stock and housekeeping of the aircraft part store
  • Perform local or overseas operational relief duties when required

Requirements

Qualification/ Experience:

  • Min High School graduation (Secondary School)
  • Demonstrably aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations
  • Have (or be willing to receive) induction training / on the job training as required

  • Assists in keeping the store and station tidy and compliant with the rules and regulations

  • Identifies local opportunities for new contracts
