Role Purpose Statement:
Ø Sales target achievement and hunting role.
Main Accountabilities:
Ø Sales hunting and target achievement of the Air Freight division to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Ø Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and areas for differentiation.
Ø Assist in managing the air freight operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of import/export shipments.
Ø Lead negotiations on contracts, ensuring terms are favorable for the company while meeting the needs of the client.
Ø Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents.
Ø Implement best practices to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and improve operational efficiency.
Ø Ensures that operations and documentation requirements are consistent with the current operational compliance.
Ø Ensure that the air freight adheres to global standards and certifications to maintain credibility and trust with clients.
Ø Drive the adoption of digital tools and innovative technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery within the air freight vertical.
Ø Build and maintain relationships with key air freight carriers, logistics partners, and suppliers to ensure optimal service levels, capacity, and cost-efficiency.
Ø Drive growth by planning line haul operations for shipments, while closely monitoring movements.
Ø Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Ø Collaborate with other departments, such as to ensure smooth and efficient import/export operations.
Qualification:
Ø Education - Graduate
Ø Experience - Total 7-10 years.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Ø Experience in Freight Forwarding sales and target achievement (Import / Export).
Ø Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Able to work very independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Ø Experience in contract negotiations, air freight operations and other relevant processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain Operational Excellence:
· Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo
· Understand and input applicable financial components of shipments to generate correct billing for customers
· Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally
· Execute/Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
· Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data
· Full understanding of pricing. Provides quotes based on needs of customer and network
· Provides track and trace service to customers and generates shipment documents
· Ensure a high-level of data integrity within the shipments: acknowledgement of shipment details, INCOterms, routing, dates, documents, etc.
Facilitate Relationships:
· Builds great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
· Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers/Agents, CHR offices, and Outside Vendors
· Promote a positive working relationship for all team members
· Participate, as needed, in new customer implementations and business meetings
Other Activities:
· Ensure customer SOPs are maintained and adhered to
· Work according to CHR, local and global laws, regulations and procedures
· Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum 1-3 years of Global Forwarding experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
· Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Preferred:
· Associate's or bachelor's degree in related field
