You will be part of the team that develops and sets soil management policies in Singapore, as well as administering and managing environmental projects
What you will be working on:
Lead and manage the development and implementation of environmental projects, including soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects, making a tangible impact on the environment and the community
Actively participate in the development and implementation of environmental quality standards for Singapore, ensuring that our land is safe for future generations
Review and implement land policies and frameworks, shaping the future of land management in Singapore
Develop and maintain a database of environmental quality data, providing critical information for land planning, maintenance, and regulation purposes
Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and policies
Prepare tender documents and manage the procurement process for consultants and contractors, ensuring that we work with the best partners to achieve our goals
Manage project finances, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring that we make the most of our resources
What we are looking for:
Background in Environment Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent or other related quantitative discipline
Must be able to operate independently, but at the same time be a team player and effectively work with teams
Positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in soil and groundwater assessment or/and remediation related work
Having project management experience will be an advantage in this role

You will be part of a dynamic team maintaining land under SLA’s purview. Your responsibilities will include:
Addressing and attending to public feedback on land maintenance related matters.
Consulting and coordinating with various Government agencies on the proposals to use land managed by SLA.
Issuing Temporary Occupation Licence for the use of vacant land.
Liaising and coordinating with Licensees to ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of use.
