Roles & Responsibilities
Aircraft Technician (Sheetmetal)
- Able to repair, perform maintenance checks and modifies the full range of aircraft structural components and body structures as per SRM
- Experience in identifying structural/airframe defects and determining the repairs required.
- Knowledgeable in repair work (component repair/sheetmetal structure) as per SRM/CMM
- Able to fabricate airframe sheet metal parts, subsystem assemblies' components.
- Able to identify, remove and manage aircraft corrosions while ensuring aerodynamics smoothness.
- Comfortable in using equipment/tools/machinery.
- Able interpret and use engineering drawings.
- Able to repair, perform maintenance checks and modifies the full range of aircraft structural components and body structures.
- Experience in inspecting defects and determining the repairs required.
- Able to fabricate airframe sheet metal parts, service aviation, subsystem assemblies' components and perform operational checks to ensure aircraft is in line with regulations and safety requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
Aircraft Technician (A&C)
- Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks or defects.
- Read and utilize maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot, repair, carry out maintenance and complete work assignments.
- Maintain, repair, aircraft structures, components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.
- Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment's and aircraft components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, or diagrams to conform during installation, maintenance or operation activities.
- Perform inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear
- Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the Regulatory Authority.
- Promote safety and quality within the workplace ensuring all tasks are performed within the technical manual procedures, and communicate with other technicians, supervisors and licensed aircraft maintenance engineers to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns
- Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
- Keep detailed maintenance records of the inspections performed, repairs performed, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

The Aerospace Technician realizes mechanical and electrical maintenance operations while continuously optimizing delays and costs and respecting quality, security and environmental procedures.
Job Requirements
- Carry out maintenance operations in accordance to work order and customer's order
- Control, test and measure as required by the working documents (CMM, internal repair method) by using appropriate metrological tools (millimetres, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, specific mechanical benches, etc.)
- Inform the Engineering of abnormalities
- Disassemble equipment in compliance with the constructor's documentation and the CMM (Component Maintenance Manuel)
- Wash and strip the equipment's parts
- Elaborate with the coordinator a technical quotation for the refurbishing of the equipment: workforce, materials and delays
- Order substitution the elements, repair and reassemble the equipment in compliance with the CMM (at reception of customer's consent)
- Transmit the equipment file to Certifying staff
- Establish for each phase of the process, the needed documents for the repaired equipment's traceability
- Experience with Leading edge de-icer boot repair will be an added bonus
- Adherance to Safety Standards in handling aircraft safety components
- Ensure clean workspace

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections at receiving/preliminary, in-process, and final inspection.
- Accurately document inspection results.
- Comply with internal Quality Management System requirements.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as indicators, verniers calipers, micrometers and gauges to perform inspections.
- Interpret resolution of gauges required to perform dimensional inspections.

- Review and ensure compliance with customer preference files.
- Use judgment in setting up datum of Co-ordinating Measuring Machine (CMM) and surface plate, select proper size probes and programs of measurement, and perform tip calibrationsbefore inspection of components.
- Detect faulty operations and materials, and create NCR to document non-conformance and disposition rework or escalate, as needed.
- Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) requirements and ability to instruct trainees on GD&T principles.
- Work with engineering to resolve customer technical submittal and acceptance.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area such as 6S, sort, label, and store tooling/equipment.
- Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and comply with all safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Able to interpret engine manuals, drawings, illustrated parts manuals, operation sheets, complex blueprints and other technical data requirements.
- Proficient at running CMM programs and perform minor program adjustments to run CMM manually.

The Job
Aerospace Technicians are the foundation of our repair shops. Their primary responsibility is to carry out maintenance work on Liebherr aerospace components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). This job requires a keen eye for detail, strong commitment, as well as the ability to adhere to all safety regulations.
What You Can Expect of the Job
You’ll carry out maintenance tasks such as modification, overhaul and repair of aerospace components to the specified standard in accordance with the maintenance data.
You’ll conduct the inspection of test instruments, general maintenance of tools and rigs, condition of consumables and general conditions of work area.
You’ll perform the pneumatic / hydraulic testing to ensure the serviceability of the components after repair completion.
Any other tasks as assigned.
What We Expect of You
Minimum ITE / AETI Certificate in Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering
Preferably 1-2 years of hands-on experience as Technician
Holders of relevant CAAS papers such as L12/B11/A16/A12 or approved modules PCAWO (M1000 & M2000) will be advantageous.
Team player and strong sense of commitment to ensure tasks are carried out within the time frame.
Willing to work overtime, if required
