As an Aircraft Repair & Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

We're seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our clients team, specializing in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing GNC systems for various aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GNC systems for spacecraft, aircraft, and missiles
• Analyze and simulate GNC system performance using tools like MATLAB and Python
• Develop and implement algorithms for navigation, guidance, and control
• Integrate GNC systems with other aerospace systems
• Conduct testing and validation of GNC systems

Requirements

• Perform disassembly and assembly of engine/module for repair and overhaul
• Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Install engine components onto the engine/module
• Perform troubleshooting, modification and maintenance work

Various job responsibilities include performing heavy maintenance tasks, inspecting and examining aircraft components for leaks, cracks or defects, reading and utilizing drawings, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments. Additional responsibilities include routine maintenance operations such as replacement of power plant and aircraft components, daily and weekly inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions and missing segments. All tasks must be completed in the allotted timeframe and meet the quality standards of the company, customers, and authority.

Other duties include ordering supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance, keeping detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum diploma in engineering, preferably in Aerospace or relevant certificates
• 3 years of working experience in the aviation industry

Aerospace Technician Needed for Laser Operations Role

• We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Technician to join our team in a challenging Laser Operations role.

About the Job:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for Taping and Laser Operations/Laser Inspection duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components
  Remove and clean the component using abrasives and chemicals
  Collaborate with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer parts
  Assist in receiving, inspecting, and shipping of newly received and finished processed parts
  Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  Control and perform preventive maintenance routines
  Manual loading and unloading of critical aerospace components
  Ensure accurate documentation completion and maintenance in accordance with process control standards
  Read and interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, data cards, and KPIs

Laser Operations Tasks:

• Assist Laser Operators in running control strips according to data cards and interpreting results
  Manually load and unload aerospace components into robotic processing stations
  Collaborate with Laser Operators and Technicians to process aerospace parts efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  Cross-check rectification points on rectification sheets with those programmed to prevent laser contact with exposed metal surfaces
  Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain control parameters critical to the laser peening process

In-Process Inspection Duties:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace components and verify processing parameters based on customer specifications
  Ensure timely deliveries by maintaining product conformity and service quality
  Communicate effectively with the production team and contribute to performance management processes
  Conduct periodic inspections and calibration of precision tools, ensuring accurate records are maintained
  Maintain current versions of customer specifications, drawings, and inspection records
  Ensure proper tagging and identification of processed components as agreed with the customer
  Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  Perform hands-on inspections aligned with customer requirements and interpret associated documentation (drawings, specifications, data cards, etc.)
  Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues
  Promote a safe working environment and contribute to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Manager, Division Manager, and customers
