- Perform disassembly and assembly of engine/module for repair and overhaul
- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Install engine components onto the engine/module
- Perform troubleshooting, modification and maintenance work
Various job responsibilities include performing heavy maintenance tasks, inspecting and examining aircraft components for leaks, cracks or defects, reading and utilizing drawings, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments. Additional responsibilities include routine maintenance operations such as replacement of power plant and aircraft components, daily and weekly inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions and missing segments. All tasks must be completed in the allotted timeframe and meet the quality standards of the company, customers, and authority.
Other duties include ordering supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance, keeping detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
