Advertising & Promotions Executive /Manager
Overview
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Advertising & Promotions (A&P) Individual to join our team. This role is key in driving shopper traffic, enhancing customer experience, and supporting tenant sales through mall-wide campaigns, promotions, and events. You will also play a crucial role in sourcing and managing atrium, roadshow, and advertising space revenues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to assess opportunities and better understand customer needs.
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute mall-wide promotions and events to boost shopper traffic and tenant sales.
- Source for potential licensees to drive Advertising & Promotions revenue through the booking of atrium spaces, roadshows, and ad placements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the annual marketing calendar and marketing budgets.
- Plan and manage advertising, promotions, and digital marketing strategies (social media, website, in-mall directories).
- Build strong working relationships with tenants, partners, sponsors, and agencies to drive participation and ensure successful launches of campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and report on A&P effectiveness, recommending improvements for future campaigns.
- Manage social media content and engagement (contests, promotions, feedback, and comments).
- Support design and production of marketing collaterals (posters, decals, signage, displays).
- Handle administrative tasks such as procurement, financial processes, and vendor management.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in A&P / mall marketing, preferably from small heartland malls (e.g., F&B retailers, tuition centres, student enrichment operators, and atrium promotions).
- Experience in event management, digital marketing, and social media marketing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing (social media platforms, paid media buy, and analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
