The successful candidate will join the Overseas Accounting Department in SIA Finance Division.
Key Responsibilities
Internal control
Review and complete monthly accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, cash audit checklist, highlight and follow through any abnormalities with accountant and stations.
Monitor and liaise with stations to ensure compliance with procedures and policies in the Finance Manual.
Support queries from stations as needed.
Assist with month-end closing activities.
Follow up on defaulted debts/aged debts and provide provisions for doubtful debt.
Monitor and ensure prompt clearance of suspense accounts; assist stations in posting accounting entries for account clearance.
Collaborate with station Business Units on variance analysis and review quarterly Budgetary Control Statement reports.
Assist in station’s operating budget exercises.
Handle billing requests to subsidiaries or third parties.
Manage station requests for new SAP access, ensuring compliance with Segregation of Duty (SOD) matrix.
Track vendor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
Perform other assignments and projects as needed.
Requirements
Diploma in Accountancy or similar qualification.
Meticulous, self-driven, able to work independently and in a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and IT-savvy.
Open to both fresh diploma holders and candidates with work experience.

**Requirements**: More than 1 year of accounting clerk experience; clerks with some accounting experience are acceptable. Good English communication skills (IELTS 6+).
