We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accounting Executive
to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. This role will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage consolidation processes across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and knowledge of the food manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting and Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for the organization and consolidated entities.
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations and adjustments are completed.
Review journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Consolidation of Financial Statements
Handle multi-entity consolidation, including eliminations and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Analyze financial data and provide insights into consolidated financial performance.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
4. Cost Accounting (Food Manufacturing Focus)
Analyze production costs, raw material usage, and overhead allocations.
Assist in pricing decisions by evaluating cost structures.
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and periodic stock reconciliations.
5. Compliance and Internal Controls
Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, tax compliance, and audit requirements.
Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure process efficiency.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
6. Team Collaboration and Leadership
Guide junior accounting staff and provide mentorship to enhance team capability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to align financial processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in consolidation and food manufacturing.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and cost accounting principles.

Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
