Responsibilities
- Sales responsibility for and management of the Academia & Public sector team in our APAC market
- Acquiring new business and further developing our client base across all company verticals (governments, universities, libraries, public institutions)
- Proactively develop sales opportunities from a variety of business product categories
- Consistently achieve individual monthly sales targets
- Draft, conceptualize and share new sales campaigns and ideas within our growing team
- Maintaining our existing B2B clients as well as implementing upsell and cross-sell measures
- Meet prospective clients for presentations and actively organize speaking opportunities in your designated sales region
- Working with clients throughout the entire sales cycle
- 8-10 years direct sales experience, preferably selling market intelligence products & services or other SaaS online solutions
- Experience in outbound Academia or government sales as well as in acquiring new business in the Southeast Asia region
- Experience mentoring a team (2-5 people)
- Excellent command of English and Chinese. Additional regional languages are beneficial.
- Competitive sales nature with a desire to win
- Customer-centric mindset to understand how Statista can benefit our prospects

Key Responsibilities
Personal Training & Coaching
- Deliver 1-on-1 personal training at homes, condo gyms, or outdoor locations
- Customize fitness programs based on client goals and fitness level
- Motivate, track progress, and ensure safe, effective workouts
- Deliver engaging trial sessions that demonstrate value and build trust
- Serve as the first point of contact for new personal training leads assigned by the company
- Coordinate and schedule trial sessions within 2-3 days of lead assignment
- Follow up with trial clients to answer questions, handle objections, and convert them into paid packages
- Track lead status and conversion performance using CRM or reporting tools
- Upsell renewals and higher-tier packages
- Collect client testimonials and feedback
- Create basic fitness content (photos, tips, IG Reels)
- Represent StringsSG at roadshows, demos, or pop-up events
- Support the onboarding of new trainers in future
Base Salary:
▸ $2,000-$,200/month (based on experience and certification)
Per-Session Commission:
▸ Additional commission for each completed session, with higher payouts for exceeding daily benchmarks
Package Sales Commission:

Retention Bonus:
▸ Monthly performance bonus based on client satisfaction and renewal rate

- Personal Training Certification (ACE, NASM, NCSF, etc.)

▸ Delivered at least 100+ sessions (home, gym, or freelance) - Experience in customizing fitness programs for diverse clients (weight loss, strength, mobility, etc.)
- Familiar with trial sessions, goal setting, and progress tracking
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Confident handling trial leads and upselling packages
- Willing to travel islandwide for sessions
- 1+ years experience including:
Freelance PT work or gym-based personal training
Some exposure to client sales, rebooking, or upselling packages - Track record of client retention or referrals
- Comfortable with basic digital tools: CRM apps, booking platforms, or Excel
- Experience creating social content (e.g. IG reels, workout tips) a strong plus
- Training takes place across Singapore - in condo gyms, client homes, ActiveSG gyms, Gym pods or parks
