As a Performing Arts Intern, you'll be at the heart of our holiday programmes, making the magic happen You'll work closely with our team to orchestrate, coordinate our holiday camps and end of year performances and conduct exciting holiday camps this summer.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct holiday camps for children aged 2.5-12years old, in music and/or performing arts
- Create engaging and unique holiday experiences.
- Assist in planning and executing events, ensuring every detail is pitch-perfect.
- Manage enquiries and taking of photos and videos for the camps
- Oversee smooth running of camps
- Help us spread the word through social media, newsletters, and community outreach.

- Cultivate strong networks with and engage stakeholders within the performing arts sector for the purposes of strategy and policy development.
- Administer NAC's various assistance schemes, including grants, arts spaces, and other developmental platforms; assess grant applications; monitor and evaluate grant application outcomes.
- Manage grant recipients (organisations and individuals) to support their development and ensure that funding outcomes are met and provide relevant and timely advice and support to dance and traditional arts companies and practitioners.
- Review existing efforts in the internationalisation of the dance and traditional arts sectors and guide the team to support artists in their international projects to achieve NAC's strategic priority in this aspect.

- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of a range of dance and/or traditional arts genres, including an understanding of the local and international dance and/or traditional arts sectors. Prior working experience in the dance and/or traditional arts sectors would be an advantage.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to changing contexts.
