Job Summary: The Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting Network
Administration and Management Services for the Company and/or the In-Scope
Institutions. This role includes managing network and security infrastructure, monitoring
network performance, and ensuring the stability and security of network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network and Security Equipment Management:
• Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion
Detection/Intrusion Prevention System, VPN gateways, proxies, Wire Lan
Controllers, Network Access Control appliances, load balancers, Network
Management System, and other network devices.
• Perform day-to-day network and security operations, including monitoring
and managing network infrastructure.
2. Incident and Problem Management:
• Respond to network incidents according to severity levels and meet service
level requirements.
• Handle high-pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick
decisions to resolve issues.
• Adhere to incident management workflows and procedures.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain and update network diagrams, configuration records, inventory,
RMA records, and incident reports.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on network performance, capacity
planning, and incident analysis.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with third-party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs,
and other service providers.
• Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of network and
security systems.
5. Compliance and Training:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security guidelines,
and health and safety regulations.
• Provide continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills in network
administration and management.
Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience:
• Level 1: Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing network and security
infrastructure.
• Level 2: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing network and security
infrastructure.
• Certifications:
• Level 1: ITIL certified, CCNA or equivalent network certifications.
• Level 2: ITIL certified, CCNP or equivalent network certifications, CompTIA
Security+ or equivalent security certifications.
• Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of network and security systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

Responsibilities:
- Implementing network and security solutions: Responsible for implementing network and security solutions for clients, which may involve configuring routers, switches, wireless, load balancers and other network devices like Aruba. Racking and Stacking network devices. Expected to handle small to mid-sized project.

- Knowledge Transfer: Responsible for providing handover the project to client and internal operations team.
- Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in network design/deployment.
- Excellent knowledge in Routing and switching, eg. BGP, OSPF, Multicast, VSS, spanning tree, MPLS L3VPN.
- Experience in wireless. Cisco WLC, Aruba, Prime, MSE/CMX, DNAC, Ekahau Site Survey tool
- Data centre technologies, eg. Cisco Nexus VDC, VPC, FEX, VXLAN, ACI.
- Good knowledge of Firewall technologies eg. IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortigate,
- Good knowledge in network access control(NAC) product, eg Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager, Cisco ISE.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Current CCNA/CCNP qualified with related professional experience, CCIE would be an advantage.
